i've been seeing this post go around lately. so i love this framing.
"Getting features in your user’s hands will always have a better chance of helping them than a story in your backlog." -- this.
on a related side, there's a lot of talk as well on how there's just so many frameworks now on "how to do product management right" that might also have sparked a lot of frustration for the new generation PMs. i empathize with their frustration but the truth also is that if we spend more time talking about the HOWs of delivering value vs actually trying to deliver value -- that might be a bigger problem vs not running a week design sprint.
"Nothing in your career has to be permanent."-- and even more important this. i wonder how much this person is compromising his values by choosing to stay and just be an order-taker.
