Your data stays on your device. We don’t collect, store, or share any of your information. Period.

What We Don’t Collect

HVAC Load Calculator does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. This includes:

Your name, email, or contact information
Project data or calculations
Location data (beyond basic ZIP code lookups for climate data)
Usage analytics or tracking data
Device identifiers

Where Your Data Lives

All projects, calculations, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone using secure on-device storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to:

Export a PDF report and share it yourself
Email calculation results to someone

These actions are under your direct control. We don’t receive copies of anything you share.

Climate Data

The app includes a bundled database of climate data (cooling/heating degree days) for major US ZIP codes. This database is stored locally in the app and doesn’t require any internet connection or data transmission to function.

Future Features

We’re transparent about what’s coming:

In-App Purchases - When we add premium features, we’ll use RevenueCat to process payments. RevenueCat may collect purchase-related data as required for payment processing. This feature is not currently active.

Third-Party Services

Currently, the app operates completely standalone with no third-party services. When we introduce optional features, we’ll update this policy and notify users.

Children’s Privacy

We don’t collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices, we’ll update this policy and the “Last Updated” date. Significant changes will be noted in app update descriptions.
