This is so true. I come from a technical background, yet the times I have used this skill in comparison to others that are more important to the role, are way rare.
It can be a temptation to improve one’s tech knowledge with certifications like AWS. But as you said, that time can be better invested learning about strategy, direction, collaboration, marketing, etc.
